Position OverviewSoutheastern Site Development, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Civil Bridge Carpenters to work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The Bridge Carpenter will be responsible for building, setting and dismantling formwork used in bridge construction and concrete structures. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build, install and dismantle concrete forms for bridge construction and structural concrete</li><li>Construct formwork for bridge decks, walls, footings, columns, caps and other concrete structures</li><li>Measure, cut and install form materials</li><li>Set forms accurately to required dimensions, elevations and grades</li><li>Assist with reinforcing steel and concrete placement as needed</li><li>Work safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations</li><li>Work effectively as part of a bridge construction crew</li><li>Follow all jobsite safety and quality standards</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in bridge carpentry, concrete forming or structural construction</li><li>Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install forming materials</li><li>Ability to work safely at heights and in varying outdoor conditions</li><li>Strong safety awareness and attention to detail</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>1-2+ years of experience in heavy civil bridge construction</li><li>Experience forming bridge decks, caps, columns, footings, or retaining walls</li><li>DOT or public works experience</li><li>Experience working around cranes and heavy construction equipment</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance, Accident, and Critical Illness Coverage</li><li>Employer-paid $20,000 Life Insurance Policy</li><li>401(k) with Employer Match</li><li>Overtime opportunities</li><li>Long-term, stable infrastructure work</li></ul>Competitive pay based on experience Company OverviewSoutheastern Site Development, Inc. is a leading heavy civil construction company operating throughout Georgia.
